This bag has been drawn over a canvas and hand upholstered with 100% cotton thread, cotton strip made with handloom by a member of the Wayuu tribe in the region of La Guajira, Colombia. The elaboration process for a bag lasts about 10 to 20 days, making each piece a unique and exclusive, using a technique that passes from generation to generation and is a key element of their culture. The Wayuu bag is inspired by colors and figures that symbolize elements of nature that surround the daily life of the Wayuu.
