This purse or small bag has been hand knitted with 100% cotton thread by a member of the Wayuu tribe in the region of La Guajira, Colombia. The elaboration process for a bag lasts about 3 days, making each piece unique and exclusive, using a technique that passes from generation to generation and is a key element of their culture. The  Wayuu purse is inspired by colors and geometric figures that symbolize elements of nature that surround the daily life of the Wayuu.
